Hello,
I stumbled across this website and I don't really know what it is about exactly but I thought I would throw out my problem and if I meet some cool new people out in the world, that would be awesome enough.
I am a single mom. I have gone to college previously but I have never had the money to continue. I really don't want money to be a road block.
In about the last year I realized my compassion and strengths lie with Autism and mental disorders. I work in a group home with six adults who have a variety of disabilities.
I want to continue and become a behavorial specialist. I know it will take a long time to achieve the main goal, probably a masters in --- I'm not sure what exactly would be the best degree. I have heard of several in the area. So I do need so input.
My ideal, would be to find a work place that will help pay for school. As a single mom I am sure there is a little money out there for me but I already have student loans and terrible credit so I don't believe I can get any more of those.
I believe I was born to work in this field. It comes naturally and I am willing to do what it takes. I just have to be available for my son as well which makes it so much harder.
